There will be nice tiles and stuff...

My posts appear to have tailed off into nothingness. Sadly I have been so very busy that this old blog has taken a back seat.

I now live in london, I have interned at ministry of sound for a month, finished up all my uni work and graduated. I now desperately need to find an actual job, but also want to keep updating this with exciting posts.

Promise they are coming soon.
I have included images of some of my favourite diva's.

Got. Got. Got. Got. Got. NEED.

I have decided that now I have handed in my FMP I should go around my room and take pictures of some of the really good things I have bought recently.
I FINALLY found some lovely REAL butterflies - a bargain at only £3 per frame.
Speaking of bargains this bag was just 50p!
I guess most of my things are bargains as this horsie cushion was just one pound.
This is a cute bear from Berlin. Me and Joe both got one from a tourist shop.
Oh yes and I found some nice frames for my portraits of children too.
Something I am desperate to find is this seaside wedding set. I want to buy it for Joe, he mainly wants the merman groom but the whole set would be a bonus. The merman was on ebay a little while back with two other mermaids but it sold for just under £20! If anyone knows where I could get this don't hesitate to tell me.

Split screen.

I haven't put any of my work up for ages as it has been too stressful making it! This is just something I tried out but have decided not to use in my final instillation.

I have been working on split screen as a comment on the overwhelming nature of adolescence.

My FMP will be handed in on friday and I will back to regular silly posts.

Cradle.

I am really looking forward to the Cradle exhibition this friday (24th April) from 6-9pm in Bournemouth's lower gardens. Jess Bell and Marc Aubert are going to make the bandstand float which is very exciting, Jess Hill is knitting a special tree cover and last time I spoke to Chilli she was planning some kind of Jam sculpture which sounded really cool too. The pieces I have heard about particularly Jess and Marc's sound very optimistic and I am really looking forward to seeing how they pull them off. I think it is going to be sunny and will continue at postcards after 9 which will be lovely too.

Find out more about Marc, Jess and all the other artists contibuting by clicking here.

As hard as we try...

... me and Joe just can't help but think quite a lot of dolls are amazing.

The most glamourous and demure of all is our very own Miss Jersey, who has appeared on this blog several times.

The other day we were lucky enough to bump into three of her sisters in a vintage shop on brick lane, unfortunately none of them have been lucky enough to receive any kind of sash, let alone one crowning her as the jewel of one of Britain's fairest islands.
Her sisters even had the same elegant hands!
Me and Joe have decided the above is her closest competition.
This poor old bitch might have a very glamourous dress but has by far the least attractive face.

Ages ago Joe spotted one of these dolls in a different vintage shop. She was suspended in the air and had a huge/amazing golden dress.

If you have any idea where or when these dolls come from or if you have seen any yourself then please let me know.

I Love Sarah Ferguson.

A long time ago someone bought me this spoon which features Sarah Ferguson's face. I really liked it at the time but it isn't until now I have realised how amazing the spoon and Sarah herself both are. Sarah is just such an amazing horsey mess and gives off such a slutty vibe.
I actually saw this book in a shop and didn't buy it! I must be insane. At a glance you would think Sarah was a glamour model posing for the cover of an erotic novel, however this is her autobiography.
No comment necessary.
Fergie with an equally slutty Fergie.

I am going to buy her book and make it my mission to learn about her and buy all her other merchandise.

Lily Cole for French Playboy.

This is probably from ages ago but I thought the pictures were really cool and they are taken by Xevi Muntane who I read an interesting article about in an old issue of BUTT. He seems like such a strange person, he completely lives for taking pictures all week and then getting bummed really hard at the weekend. He doesn't care about food or talking or anything. I will scan the article one day when I can be bothered.

Visions Of Excess.

I REALLY want to go to this.

It costs £25 and is being held at the Shunt Vaults underneath London bridge station. I have seen a production there before and it is such an amazing place.

Someone please come with me.

Portraits Of Children. Part II.

Good things come in threes.

I recently discovered these amazing artworks for 50p a piece. The frames were horrible so I got rid and am awaiting discovery of some that are worthy. They are similar to the ones Joe picked up a while back that I posted about here.

The little native american with a tiny baby is obvs the best.

Terry Richardson + Gossip Girl = Fucking Amazing.

You have probably already seen these but I thought they deserved some recognition.

I think all the cast are so fit and actually seem really fun and nice except Jenny who seems like a cunt and doesn't look that great at all. There is a cute video on the Rolling Stone website. You can peer at it here.

I cannot wait for...

Photobooth.
Fleamarkets.
Drinking Berliner and smoking inside.

Not taking the war memorial seriously.
Hot dog soup.
Seeing a drunk girls arse.
Climbing over bicycles.
Places that look like this.

Im off to Berlin in 15 days!

Let the right one in.

I NEED to see this!
This literally looks SO amazing & supposedly is the most revolutionary thing to the Horror genre since The Exorcist. Watch the trailer.

Skipping. Repetition. Looped.

It is hard to show on here how my work is moving visually as I can only put on short snippets that you can't play on loop. When this work is exhibited I intend to play a variety of different movements at various speeds with differing looks on split screens.

Move.

Here are some examples of my latest work. I will put up some moving portraits soon.
